General Notes
- Black men have a relatively high occurrence of hypertension, diabetes, depression, and cancer than most other races.
- Alcohol and drug addiction also have high occurrences in Black men.
- Domestic violence occurs relatively high in the Black race as well.
- The ADA has given people with disabilities (including the elderly) the opportunity to live a fairly normal life that they probably wouldn't have been able to have without it.
- Even though a high school drop out may have a difficult time finding a successful career, that person can always go back to school and eventually obtain the required education to find meaningful employment.
- Environmental activism provides ordinary people with extra-ordinary opportunities to positively affect change for many people. It may be fulfilling and calming as well.
